1979 Gibson Les Paul Artist Tobacco Sunburst

1979 Gibson Les Paul Artist Tobacco Sunburst

HK$0.00

Although produced only between 1979 and 1981, this 1979 first-year production Gibson Les Paul Artist model remains one of the most impressive Les Paul guitars produced during the Gibson 'Norlin' era.

The most striking feature is that Gibson collaborated with synthesizer manufacturer ‘Moog’ to develop two circuit boards specifically designed for this model, which are installed on a large control plate on the back of the guitar. In terms of controls, it has two knobs that control bass and treble cut or boost. Additionally, there are three toggle switches for Compression, Expansion, and Brightness functions integrated into the circuitry. But even without talking about this unique electronic part, this is still a Gibson Les Paul with the classic sound of the 70s.

This guitar also includes a distinctive "LP" headstock logo and a brass truss rod cover engraved with "Les Paul Artist". It comes with an original 'Chainsaw' hard case. These features make it a great choice for anyone seeking a unique vintage Les Paul.Tobacco Sunburst Finish
